Deacon Ministry

"Brothers, choose men from among you who are known to be full of the
Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and
will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word."
(Acts 6:3-4)
The Deacon Ministry exists to help meet the needs of the families of
the church in order that the ministers can focus on prayer and
teaching the word of God. Deacons are men of respect, sincere,
temperate, and trustworthy. They must keep hold of the deep truths
of the faith with a clear conscience and have broad enough adult
experience to be able to minister to a cross section of members. |
