WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES

WINTER/SPRING 2009

A Note from Charmaine:

Dear Sister,

Over the past few months, my heart has been burdened for women to know and discern the voice of God.  Unfortunately, life’s issues and the demands of it has superseded God’s rightful place preventing him from being heard and being our highest priority.  Therefore, it is my desire to see women seasoned in their walk with the Lord and those beginning to walk to come even closer to the Lord and restore him to his rightful place—on the throne.

The Leadership Team and I have spent much effort, prayer, and time into organizing a Bible Study/Discipleship Curriculum for you this year.  We have been praying that the Lord would stir up a renewed commitment and desire to make Him your highest priority.

DOVE Women’s Ministry is here to assist, encourage and serve you.

(+)          Jesus on Money: Charting a New Course: Book 1—Larry Burkett with Kay Moore
Our beliefs and behaviors often serve as outward indicators of our inward spiritual condition. Through this study, members will determine where they are with respect to the Bible’s teachings on personal financial management and learn how to align their attitudes and beliefs with God’s standards, giving new meaning and purpose to life.

(+)           Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman—Beth Moore
Going up against heavyweights bent on her destruction, Esther trusted God and landed a blow that saved her people. The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's woman. Esther's destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner.

(+)          Real Women…. Real Issues
In today’s time, women struggle with real issues such as family, loneliness, marriage, communication, respect, finances and etc.  This on-going dialogue takes a biblical approach on how a Christian woman can handle the real issues spiritually and succeed.
